My Story
Hello Everyone!
My name is Danielle Mayes, and I am the founder of Amayesing Graze, an upscale catering company specializing in visually stunning charcuterie grazing boards based in Lansing, Michigan. My journey began in live event production, where I served as creative director for a Michigan-based firm, specializing in corporate and high-end events. Over time, my passion for hosting extravagant events and dinner parties grew, influenced by my global travels that deepened my appreciation for art and cuisine.
During my career, I developed a profound love for the art of charcuterie, blending cultural influences into creating exquisite, visually captivating charcuterie boards. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, which impacted the live event industry significantly, I saw an opportunity to pursue my true passion for food and hospitality. In the summer of 2020, amidst the pandemic, I launched Amayesing Graze. The name is a play on words combining my new last name and a term that evokes the joy of eating together, inspired by a popular 1970s folk song by Judy Collins.
At Amayesing Graze, we specialize in crafting well-balanced and visually stimulating charcuterie grazing boards that elevate any occasion. I believe in adding a unique “wow” factor to events, creating unforgettable experiences for clients and their guests.
