Hello Everyone!
My name is Danielle Mayes, and I am the founder of Amayesing Graze, a premier Catering Lansing MI company specializing in upscale catering services, visually stunning charcuterie grazing boards, and unforgettable grazing tables. Based in Lansing, Michigan, we create beautifully curated food experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special celebrations throughout Mid-Michigan.
My journey began in live event production, where I served as creative director for a Michigan-based firm specializing in corporate and high-end events. Over time, my passion for hosting extravagant gatherings and dinner parties grew, inspired by my global travels and my appreciation for the artistry behind food, culture, and cuisine.
During my career, I developed a deep love for the art of charcuterie, blending cultural influences and creative design to create exquisite, visually captivating grazing boards. Despite the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, which greatly impacted the live event industry, I saw an opportunity to pursue my true passion for food and hospitality. In the summer of 2020, I launched Amayesing Graze — a name that combines my new last name with the spirit of gathering, sharing, and enjoying great food together, inspired by a popular 1970s folk song by Judy Collins.
